Project Description

"Shift" is a dome projection by hilights.studio that explores the personal and creative journey of becoming a media artist.

The show unfolds in four symbolic chapters, each representing a key stage in the path of becoming a media artist:
- Awakening — the artist’s first intuitive steps, seeking meaning in the surrounding space and shaping a creative voice.
- Search — a journey through a maze of uniformity, reflecting the struggle to maintain individuality in a world that often resists it.
- Imagination — the spark that ignites new ideas and forges creative connections.
- Harmony — the fleeting yet profound sense of balance between thought and expression.

"Shift" is more than a visual experience — it’s an invitation to explore the inner process of creation and the ongoing search for identity.

About the Director

Ivan Solod is a director, media artist, and creative director of hilights.studio.

With over 14 years of experience in computer graphics, Ivan specializes in media design, collaborating with clients worldwide. In 2019, he founded hilights.studio — a multimedia studio focused on crafting distinctive concepts in new media. Ivan not only leads the creative process but actively contributes as an artist to the studio’s projects.
